Ok, I must be the only person in the universe who doesn't get it. So far it seems to me to be a huge platform for junk mail and spam.
I will grant you this, it has been handy for my husband to catch up with people in his industry that he no longer works with and wishes to keep in touch with.
But all that Simpsons trivia!
It seems to be a very good venue for people to keep in superficial contact with acquaintances and those whom they see at work everyday.
I send text messages for that.
